A journey to the land of fire and ice: geysers, waterfalls, the black beach and glaciers
Looking for a deep reset without extra worries, with maximum comfort and the ability to just be yourself? Then this format is the best option. We'll take care of all the details so you can fully enjoy the moment.
Discover the incredible beauty of Iceland! Over 8 days we will see the most famous waterfalls with unforgettable names, visit active geysers bursting from beneath the Earth's crust, touch majestic glaciers, soak in hot springs to relax, and see the legendary black beach near the town of Vík and Diamond Beach. At night we will hunt for the northern lights, which, if we are lucky, will give us memories for a lifetime by painting the sky in incredible colors.

The team gathers at Keflavik Airport: first hugs and a drive through black lava fields to our house on the outskirts of the capital. In the evening a shared dinner awaits us, getting to know each other and the first look at the night sky in search of the aurora.

Today the Golden Circle awaits us: incredible waterfalls and geysers. We greet the morning to the roar of Gullfoss, where a glacial river plunges in two cascades into a deep canyon. Nearby the earth breathes steam, and the Strokkur geyser shoots boiling water into the sky.

An incredible road south – one waterfall after another: the graceful Seljalandsfoss, Gljúfrabúi hidden in a gorge, and the mighty Skógafoss with a rainbow always hanging over it. On the way we stop at the wreck of a DC-3 plane that has been lying in the middle of a black desert for half a century. The highlight of the day is the small town of Vík and the Black Beach: black sand, basalt columns resembling organ pipes, and the Reynisdrangar troll rocks rising straight out of the ocean.

We head to the heart of Vatnajökull, Iceland's largest glacier, and touch blue ice that is hundreds of years old. We visit the Jökulsárlón lagoon, where seals dive between the icebergs, and Diamond Beach, where the ocean washes chunks of ice onto the black sand that sparkle like diamonds.

A day of complete relaxation: we immerse ourselves in the milky-blue waters of the Blue Lagoon, apply white silica mud to our faces and warm up in the hot water amid black lava fields. And when it gets dark, we drive away from the city lights and go hunting for the northern lights.

We head west to the peninsula known as "Iceland in miniature". First to greet us is Kirkjufell, the most photogenic mountain in the country. Then we travel to the foot of the glacier-capped volcano through which Jules Verne's heroes set off to the centre of the Earth. We explore the beauty of Iceland at a leisurely pace, stopping at our favourite spots.

The morning belongs to the ocean: we head out into the fjord to meet whales diving and spouting right next to the boat. Then we leisurely explore the surroundings and the colorful streets of the town. And the evening is just for us: board games, conversations, hot tea and a last search for the aurora over the fjord.

We spend the final morning in Reykjavik: colorful houses, coffee in small cafés. Free time and time for souvenirs. We say goodbye, hug and agree on our next adventures together, because after trips like this strangers become friends you want to hit the road with again.

We drive comfortable 4×4 cars with winter tires, so we have complete freedom to stop wherever our heart desires: by a waterfall, on the roadside under the aurora or in the middle of a lava field.
Comfortable stay in a cozy house in the south, far from city lights – and therefore closer to the aurora.
You will taste real Icelandic cuisine: fresh Atlantic fish, aromatic lamb soup, creamy skyr and the famous Icelandic hot dogs.
We care about our travelers, so before the trip we provide a list of clothing and gear needed specifically for the Icelandic climate: from thermal underwear and a waterproof jacket to a swimsuit for the hot springs.
