Long Flight Preparation: Checklist

Long flights can be exhausting. Our checklist will help make your journey comfortable: from seat selection to in-flight entertainment.

A long flight is a challenge for anyone, but with the right preparation you can make it much more comfortable. Here is our proven checklist that will help you survive even a 12-hour flight.

Start with seat selection: if you are tall — book seats near the emergency exit, there is more legroom. Window is ideal for sleeping, and aisle — for those who like to move freely. Be sure to take in carry-on luggage: neck pillow, sleep mask, earplugs, warm socks and lip balm. Dress comfortably and in layers.

Don't forget about entertainment — download movies, books or podcasts to your tablet. Take a charger and headphones. During the flight, get up regularly and stretch, drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol and coffee. And most importantly — stay positive. A long flight is time for yourself, when you can finally watch those movies or finish that book!
